Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. In plain English, no fluff.
Who we are
This website, redbat.agency, is operated by Bat L Media OÜ, an Estonian company trading as RedBat Agency ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us any time at gert@redbat.agency.
We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to answer you, deliver our services, run the site, and improve it. We do not sell your personal data.
What we collect, and why
We collect personal data in a few specific situations:
- When you contact us or request a free audit. Through our contact and audit forms we collect your name, email, your store's website, an approximate revenue range, and anything you write to us. We use this to reply to you and to prepare your audit.
- When you book a call. Our booking page uses Calendly, which collects your name, email and scheduling details so we can meet at a time that works.
- When you apply to our partner program. Our partner form (Tally) collects the details you enter so we can set up your referral account.
- When you buy a product. Payments (for example, the Growth Roadmap) are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your payment details directly. We receive confirmation and basic order information, but never your full card number.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter. If you opt in, we store your email to send you our updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
- Automatically, when you browse. Like most websites, we collect limited technical data (such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed) through analytics and our hosting provider, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies. Some are essential to serve the site securely. Others are analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) that help us see, in aggregate, which pages are useful and where we can improve. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent where required, and you can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Some pages include content embedded from other services (for example, YouTube videos, the Calendly booking widget, or the Tally form). These services may set their own cookies and behave as if you had visited them directly.
Who we share your data with
We share data only with the service providers ("processors") that help us run the business. Each only receives what it needs, and is bound to protect it. These include:
- Web3Forms. Delivers our contact and audit form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Analytics. Helps us understand how the site is used (aggregated, via cookies).
- Calendly. Powers call booking on our "book a call" page.
- Tally. Powers our partner application form.
- Stripe. Processes payments for products such as the Growth Roadmap. We never see or store your full card details.
- Kit (ConvertKit). Sends our newsletter and emails, if you opt in.
- Cloudflare. Hosts and serves this website, and processes limited technical data for security and delivery.
- WordPress host. Runs our blog, where articles are authored and images are stored.
- YouTube / Google. Serves embedded videos, which may set their own cookies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
International data transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent protections.
Legal bases for processing
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, we process your data under one or more of these legal bases: your consent (for example, analytics and marketing emails); our legitimate interests (for example, replying to your enquiry, running and securing the site); and performance of a contract (for example, delivering a product you bought).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to help you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained according to our provider's settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to: access a copy of it; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; withdraw consent; and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email gert@redbat.agency and we will respond within the timeframes the law requires.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate / Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.
